Sunflower Oil contains Vitamin E which acts as an emollient that traps moisture inside skin cells. Therefore, using sunflower oil for skin helps keep it hydrated for a longer period.  Vitamin E is a strong antioxidant that struggles against the damage done by free radicals. Vitamin E in skin care products may help protect the collagen and elastin in skin and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Using sunflower seed oil for skin only several times per week can help postpone its aging.  Vitamin E helps lower skin redness and roughness. The anti-inflammatory benefits of sunflower oil for skin is evidently strong as the oil is high in Omega-6 (linoleic) fatty acid along with Vitamin E.  The topical use of sunflower seed oil for skin helps shield it from future environmental damage and limit moisture loss.

Coconut Oil is naturally antibacterial, antifungal, and moisturizing.  Coconut oil retains the moisture content of the skin, as the fats eliminate moisture loss through the pores on skin.  Coconut oil helps in reducing the appearance of pores. Like coconuts themselves, coconut oil is rich in many proteins.  These proteins keep skin healthy and rejuvenated.  The best property of coconut oil that makes it so beneficial for skin is that it does not become rancid.

Beeswax forms a protective barrier that helps protect it from environmental assaults, while also holding in moisture and reducing dryness. Unlike ingredients made from petroleum, however, beeswax doesn’t “suffocate” the skin, and won’t clog pores.  Like honey, beeswax has antibacterial properties, helping keep skin clean and reducing the risks of contamination in the formula itself.  Some ingredients “attract” water, and beeswax is one of them. When you put it on, you attract water molecules, helping to keep skin hydrated over time.  Beeswax is a good source of Vitamin A which helps support cell turnover and reconstruction.  Because of its anti-inflammatory properties, beeswax has been found to help encourage the healing of wounds.  If you suffer from dry skin itching, dermatitis, eczema, or any type of itching related to a skin condition, beeswax is for you.
